Beach Volley World Tour in Kish Island
World Tour is running for the third time in Kish Island on 20-24 February. Beach Volleyball is an Olympic sport that is held on sand with quite same regulation as indoor volleyball. In the formal tournaments, each team is composed of two players and there are no coach or any substitute player by the court.
The first beach volleyball took place in 1920 in Saint Monica. It was how the beach volleyball came into a new life and found its place in people’s everyday life. The popularity of this sport occurred in 1980. USA and Brazil were two giants of beach volleyball in the world but some other countries like China, and Australia joined the world power.
This sport is usually played in places where there are huge amount of sands but in some countries like Switzerland where it is all surrounded by land, beach volley is also very popular.
Beach Volleyball was first played in 1992 Barcelona as an exhibition match but was practiced in 1996 Atlanta Olympic as a formal tournament.
In Olympic Games, the beach volleyball is held with 32 participating teams. Each country is eligible to have at most two teams. Beach Volleyball in 2016 Olympic Games is one the most watched tournament as was emphasized by Dr. Graca as a triumph of its own kind.

2018 Beach volley in a Sight
Based upon what FIVB released, sixty-eight beach volleyball World Tour will be held in the first nine month of 2018.
The first edition was held in the Netherland in both men and women category from 3 to 7 in January. The last tournament that is of the final Beach Volleyball World Tour will be held in September in Germany.
In the new system of grading from one to five stars, out of 68 editions of the world tour, four are one star, six are two stars, and seven are three stars. The Beach Volleyball World Tour in Kish Island is three stars indeed.
Twenty-one editions of World Tour are four starts, six editions of it are five stars, two editions are U19 and two editions will be held under the final tournament.
The world Tour this year in 2018 has been for the third time that is held in Kish Island. The first edition of World Tour in Kish Island was held in 2016 on February with 48 participating teams from 21 countries and teams of Qatar, Russia, and Poland respectively took the podium. The second edition was held last year in 2017 again on February but with 40 teams. The first three teams were Russia, Poland, and Russia.
85 Teams from 37 Countries Step in
The registration started from early November and lasted up to late January. The total of 85 teams registered from 37 countries to attend in the World Tour Kish Island.
Iran (8 teams), Austria (7 teams), Ukraine, Germany, and USA (5 teams), Switzerland, Italy (4 teams), The Netherland, China, Poland, Russia, and Latvia (3 teams), Canada, France, Indonesia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Norway, and Turkey (2 teams), Argentina, Australia, Belarus, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Lithuania, Qatar, Scotland, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden, South Africa and Venezuela are 85 countries registered in World Tour Kish
32 Countries are in the Main Draw
Thirty-two teams are in the main draw and qualification table apiece. The teams will place based upon their rankings.
Rahman Raoufi-Bahman Salemi, Abbas Pourasgari-Vakili, Salagh-Mirzaali are three teams of Iran in the main draw while Sadeghi[Aghajani is the other team of Iran in the qualification table.
The other reserved teams of Iran are waiting out and in case any of them resigns, they will find the chance to enter the tournament.
The preliminary enquiry will occur a day before the start of tournament on February 19, 2018.

100,000 Dollars of Prize Money
The Beach Council of FIVB determined a prize money of 75000 dollar for two-gender World Tour 3Star while for single category, it will be 100,000 dollar that is the same for Kish Island World Tour.
