Week 25 – Ramsar Hoursan move a step closer to playoff after 3-1 demolition of Azarbatri

Tehran, Iran, February 01, 2021 – Ramsar Hoursan overcome Urmia Azarbatri 3-1 (22-25, 25-13, 25-21, 25-23) to reach a step closer to the playoff.

Sepahan is taking the lead in Iran Men’s Super Volleyball League with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 31-29) victory over Kordestan Rahyab Melal.

Sirjan Foulad made a comeback to overpower Gonbad Shahrdari in a hard-fought five-set thriller 26-28,19-25, 25-16, 25-20, 15-13.

Six matches were held in Week 25 at two halls – Volleyball Federation Hall and Volleyball House of Tehran with Sirjan Foulad, Sepahan Foulad, Ramsar Hoursan, Tehran Saipa, Amol Haraz Labaniat, and Urmia Shahrdari claiming victory.

Varamin Shahrdari and Yazd Shahdab rested in week 25 and the other teams made the following result:

Sepahan Foulad b Kordestan Rahyab Melal 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 31-29)

Ramsar Hoursan b Urmia Azarbatri 3-1 (22-25, 25-13, 25-21, 25-23)

Amol Haraz Labaniat b Ardakan Khatam 3-1 (25-16, 25-21, 23-25, 25-18)

After Week 25, Sepahan Foulad remained on the top of the standings, while Urmia Shahrdari and Sirjan Foulad came in second and third places respectively.
